FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Every watch in the Farer Field Watch Collection is built to go where other watches fear to tread. Equipped with a pointer date complication, 150m water resistance, and a rock-solid 38mm case fashioned from high-grade stainless steel, each field watch is capable of taking whatever you can throw at it.

This is the classic field watch, redesigned and ready for adventure.

DAY AND NIGHT

DAY AND NIGHT

Legibility is paramount when it comes to field watches, which is why each dial design features bold high-contrast hands and numerals. And, as field watches need to be legible at all times, each watch boasts a healthy application of luminous Grade X1 Super-LumiNova. Meanwhile, we’ve added our own twist to the field watch genre with the addition of an unusual pointer date complication. Protecting these elements is a flat sapphire crystal, with a triple-layer internal anti-reflective coating.

PURPOSEFUL DESIGN

PURPOSEFUL DESIGN

Each 38mm case is machined from a solid block of marine-grade stainless steel and features a monobloc construction that incorporates the movement holder into the main body of the case, rather than as a separate piece. These rugged cases are built to withstand shocks, with the brushed bezel protecting the dial and the asymmetric case shrouding the oversized screw-down crown to shield it from knocks. On the reverse of the case is an individual serial number and a custom engraving - ON LAND AND WATER -  reflecting the field watches’ versatility thanks to its 150m water resistance.

ESSENTIAL KIT

ESSENTIAL KIT

Each field watch is supplied with two strap options, allowing you to adapt your watch to suit the situation. The first strap is a three-link steel bracelet that features screw-secured links, half links, and a double-locking safety clasp with on-the-fly micro-adjustment. For this last feature, we have partnered with Nodus, who have supplied their proprietary NodeX™ module. By simply pushing a button hidden on the underside of the clasp, the wearer can extend their bracelet by up to 4.2mm, guaranteeing you can find the perfect fit.

The second strap is a fabric strap made from genuine sailcloth, rather than the stamped synthetic materials used by the majority of strap manufacturers. Our sailcloth straps have been developed specifically for us by our Swiss manufacturing partners, and are unique in the market. The sailcloth material is not only incredibly durable, but it’s also water-resistant. The strap features a rubber lining for enhanced comfort, along with leather keepers and leather reinforcement to the pin holes. Both straps come with quick-release spring bars, so you can change between them in seconds, wherever you are. Together, these straps allow you to transform the look of your watch to suit whatever environment you find yourself in.
