Exmoor II
ADVENTURE READY
The Exmoor blends the definitive military colour of olive drab with a textured main dial and subtle pops of colour. Onto the main dial is printed a full set of crisp white Arabic numerals. These are applied using luminous X1 Super-LumiNova, which also fills the silver sword handset and guarantees legibility under any circumstances. Surrounding the hour markers is an open white minute track, with a pop of colour coming from luminous yellow markers every five minutes. Another pop of colour is provided by the blue-grey lollipop seconds hand, which also has a red tip. Lastly, the Exmoor features an unusual pointer date complication, with the sloped rehaut printed with white date numbers and a burnt orange pointer hand indicating the current date. The last four days of the month are a matching burnt orange to highlight when the user may need to adjust the date during shorter months.
This easy-to-read dial, along with the Exmoor’s 150m depth rating and sapphire crystal, makes the watch the perfect choice for any explorer venturing out into the wild.
Features
To The Point - The defining element of the Farer field watch is its pointer date complication. It works by having a fourth hand "pointing" at the correct date from the scale printed around the outer edge of the dial.
Adjustable Clasp - The steel bracelet is fitted with a clasp that has NodeX™ on-the-fly micro-adjustment, which makes it easy for you to find the perfect fit.
Strap Or Bracelet - The field watches each come with two straps: A brushed three-link steel bracelet and a fabric strap made from genuine sailcloth. Both of these have quick-release spring bars, allowing you to swap between them in seconds.
Land & Water - The field watch can go anywhere thanks to its flat sapphire crystal with three layers of internal anti-reflective coating, and a capable 150m depth rating secured with a screw-down crown.
Gear Train - The Field watches are powered by the Sellita SW221-1 automatic movement, an unusual calibre with a pointer date function, 41-hour power reserve and an in-built anti-shock system.
Rock Solid - Designed to withstand the toughest conditions, the comfortably sized 38mm case is cut from 316 marine-grade stainless steel. For enhanced durability, it has a monobloc construction where the movement holder is machined directly out of the case itself.
STORY
The Exmoor field watch is named after Exmoor National Park - an area of rugged natural moorland in west Somerset and north Devon. Exmoor was designated in 1954 and is one of the smallest National Parks, but it is home to some of Britain’s most spectacular coastline, steep wooded valleys and expansive moorland. As Europe’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, Exmoor is one of the best places in the world for stargazing.
