ADVENTURE READY

The Lomond uses crisp white numerals against a matte dark navy blue dial for maximum contrast and legibility. For timekeeping in low-light conditions, the numerals, batons and handset feature an application of Grade A Super-LumiNova. A splash of colour is provided by the handset, with the brushed hour and minute syringe handset using custard yellow lume. This is supported by a navy blue seconds hand with a yellow tip and a red pointer date hand with the Farer ‘A’ at its tip. Along the dial’s outer edge is the monthly calendar, with the month-end numbers inverted from sky blue to burnt orange as a reminder to reset the date on months that have no 31st day.

Features

To The Point - The defining element of the Farer field watch is its pointer date complication. It works by having a fourth hand "pointing" at the correct date from the scale printed around the outer edge of the dial.

Rock Solid - Designed to withstand the toughest conditions, the comfortably sized 38.5mm case is cut from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, which offers exceptional strength and corrosion resistance.

Land & Water - The field watch can go anywhere thanks to its flat sapphire crystal and over-engineered 200m depth rating.

Gear Train - The Field watches are powered by the Sellita SW221-1 automatic movement, an unusual calibre with a pointer date function, 38-hour power reserve and an in-built anti-shock system.

The Power Of Three - The field watches each come with three straps. An American Horween leather strap, a waterproof NATO strap and an integrated 5-link steel bracelet. All of which have quick-release spring bars.

STORY

Named after Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park in Scotland. At its heart sits the great freshwater lake of Loch Lomond, 22.6 miles long and over 500 feet deep - with the wooded hills, lochs and glens of the Trossachs to its east. Traditionally considered the boundary between Central Scotland and the Highlands, it is home to Scotland’s most southerly Munro, Ben Lomond, which sits at 3,196ft.
