At first glance, the Segrave’s dial might seem pretty straightforward. However, upon close inspection, you’ll see that the design is made up of a blend of finishes and elements that make the Segrave exceptionally complex. The dial has a black gravel texture, onto which are mounted batons of Lumicast (Super-LumiNova blended with ceramic). Outside of this is printed a fully graduated white minute track with blue markers at 5-minute intervals to match the chronograph's seconds hand. Around the dial is a sloped rehaut with the 24-hour scale for use with the orange central GMT hand. At three o’clock is a framed date window that’s matched to the dial colour.
The hour and minute hands are bevelled polished batons, whose bases are painted black so that they appear to “float” on top of the dial. On top of these is the seconds counterhand for the chronograph, in a mid-blue, and this is paired with a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock. Meanwhile, at 6 o’clock there’s a small seconds subdial with a green hand. Both subdials have a sunburst finish, which provides some subtle contrast with the matte main dial. Lastly, the hour, minute, and GMT hands are naturally filled with X1 Super-LumiNova for low-light legibility.
Features
Two For One - By combining two of the most popular complications, the chronograph and the GMT, into one case, you essentially get two watches in one.
Night Light - To guarantee low-light legibility, the Segrave features hour batons made from Lumicast, a blend of ceramic and Super-LumiNova. These are paired with a luminous handset lumed with grade X1 Super-LumiNova.
Textured Steel - The 41mm steel case has a sporty brushed finish on its top with a polished bezel. Meanwhile, the sides are engraved with a crosshatched ‘harlequin’ pattern with a brushed border that breaks up the side profile. Furthermore, the case is water-resistant to 100m allowing it to be worn almost anywhere without fear.
Swiss Mechanics - The Segrave is powered by the Sellita SW536 M MP movement. This manually wound calibre has 29 jewels, beats at 4Hz, and has a 62-hour power reserve. As a final touch, the movement is finished to Sellita’s D4 standard, their highest option. This means that the movement is decorated with snailed brushed finishes, a custom-decorated bridge, and blued screws, making them a sight worth seeing as they tick tirelessly away.
STORY
Named after Henry Segrave, born in 1896, an early British pioneer in land speed and water speed records. Segrave, who set three land and one water record, was the first person to hold both titles simultaneously and the first person to travel at over 200 miles per hour in a land vehicle. He died in an accident in 1930 shortly after setting a new world water speed record on Windermere in the Lake District, England.

They’ve got two distinct personalities and the trademark flourish of Farer colors. Yes, they still offer great bang for the buck, especially with the additional GMT function.
The Cobb and Segrave colour combinations have very different feels, each giving differing amounts of playful-yet-versatile vibes.
